Evelyne Boren was born in Munich, Bavaria. Her childhood memories are filled with nightly air raids, sirens and running for the bomb shelters. "Because of that experience I have always sought out happiness and peace. I suppose subconsciously this is the reason I create cheerful paintings."

Evelyne came to America in 1958 and became an underwater stunt double for several motion pictures. She began painting in the late 1960's and has traveled extensively studying and teaching art. She has exhibited in many One Woman Shows.
