Listed in Who's Who in American Art, Potter has more than thirty awards to her credit including gold medals from the Catherine Lorriland Wolfe Art Club and the Knickerbocker Club. Potter believes that the contrast of light and dark creates drama and mystery. Her style is a coming together of many elements including interesting shapes, contrasting textures and unusual sizes, all complementing and enhancing each other. Still life remains her primary form of expression.
