Grant is a seasoned cowboy and rodeo rider. He is probably western art's uncontested winner of the loose equine sculpture technique and has long been known for bronzes that have a strong sense of movement. He is a member of the Cowboy Artists of America since its founding in 1966, he has been involved in many Group art shows throughout the United States, Paris, France, Moscow and Russia and his work is in numerous permanent and private collections and in at least 20 major museums.
