Sonya Terpening is an accomplished painter in both transparent watercolor and oil. “By switching between oils and watercolors I feel that my art stays much fresher.“ She is noted for taking ordinary events and turning them into extraordinary paintings. Sonya is an award-winning watercolorist and a signature member of the National Watercolor Society and Southwest Watercolor Society. Her works have appeared in numerous shows including The Prix de West Show, The Masters of the American West, The C.M. Russell Museum and many more.
